# Revision Time Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Revision Time web app at [https://app.revision-time.com](https://app.revision-time.com). By creating an account, you agree to the terms below. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Before you read the full terms, here are the key points:

* **Who can use this:** You must be 13 or older. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must set up the account.
* **Your account:** You are responsible for your password. Misuse may result in account closure.
* **Payments and refunds:** Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Cancel any time before your next billing date. A 14-day refund window applies if you have not used premium features.
* **Your content:** If you upload a revision question, you still own it, but you give Revision Time permission to show it to other users — credited to your username.
* **AI marking:** Automated feedback uses AI. It is a guide to help you improve, not a formal grade.
* **Results:** Revision Time cannot guarantee specific exam results. Always use the tools alongside official exam board materials.
* **Rules:** No scraping data, no offensive content, no cloning the app for commercial gain.

## Section 1: Introduction and acceptance

## Section 2: Account registration and security

    The personal information you provide when signing up must be true and accurate. Email verification is required to activate your account.

    You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission, change your password immediately and contact Revision Time. Passwords are encrypted — Revision Time staff cannot access them.

## Section 3: Subscriptions and payments

    Payments are processed by Stripe on a fixed-price recurring basis. Prices may change with at least one month's notice.

    You can cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged again, cancel before your next billing date.

    Credits are used to access AI-powered features. Credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. You can earn bonus credits by submitting approved community questions. If Revision Time modifies the credits system, any credits you have already purchased will be transferred proportionally.

## Section 4: User-generated content

    You own the content you upload. By submitting content, you grant Revision Time a non-exclusive right to display it to other users while your account is active. Your username is credited alongside your content. You can delete your content at any time via **Settings** — deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately.

    You must not upload illegal content, material that infringes copyright, or offensive content of any kind.

    Revision Time reviews every piece of user-generated content before it is published. Repeated violations of these guidelines risk permanent account termination.

## Section 5: Intellectual property
