At Revision Time, the goal is simple: make revision more effective, less stressful, and genuinely accessible for every student. Built by students, for students, the platform was created to solve a common problem in modern education — revision resources are often fragmented, expensive, distracting, or simply uninspiring. Revision Time exists to change that.

The platform focuses on combining modern technology with practical revision methods to help GCSE and A-Level students study smarter, not just longer.

Getting Started

If you are new here, welcome! We really appreciate having all of you on board with us to help us achieve our mission. Now, getting started can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! Below, we have given you some clear steps to create and set-up an account and get revising!

Create an Account

Most of our tools require an account to access. If you don’t want to create an account, don’t worry! You can still click here to read our shaped notes, tailored to each exam board.If you want to create an account to access our whole host of tools, click here or go to https://app.revision-time.com/account to sign up.

Register with us

On the accounts page, you can click “Register” to sign up for a new account. Enter your email, choose a username and enter a secure password, then click “Create Account”After this, you will be sent a verification email. You cannot log in until you click on the link in that email.
If you do not receive your verification email after a few minutes, try the following things:
  • Check your spam folder. Some email providers might flag our email and send us to spam.
  • Resend the email. Back on the “register” page, at the bottom (where it says “Resend Verification Email”, re-enter your email and click “Resend”. Then, wait a few minutes. It should arrive quickly!
  • Contact us. If, after trying everything above, you still do not receive an email, get in touch here.
    Make sure you email us with the email address you signed up with, because then, we can manually verify your account for you!
If you are worried the email is really from us, check the sender’s address. The verification email will come from billing@revision-time.com. If it is from that address, it’s ours!

Now, from the accounts page, you can log in. Just enter your email and password, and you’re in!

Your shiny new account!

Here, we will explain some things about your account, just to help you get started. We will include links to other documentation solely about these features for any further information you require.
As ever, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!
  • Your Profile - Each user gets a profile which they can customise to their liking. Just click your username in the top right (on desktop) or in the “More” menu (on mobile) to get started!
    From there, you can customise your profile icon and border, activate any boosts, see all the achievements and view the community leaderboard.
  • Modifying your account - if you want to make any changes to your account, click settings on the sidebar. This will allow you to change your username and password, upgrade your plan, change to dark mode, disable AI features and gamification features, and much more!
  • Credits and AI enabled features - We include some AI enabled features within our website to give you faster and more accurate access to personalised feedback.
    AI features will require Credits to use. Below, we have detailed the number of credits each plan gets per day, and approximately how many marks of questions you can get automatically marked each day. You can check your credits balance at any time on the top bar (desktop) or the “More” menu (mobile)

    *Unlimited credits is subject to fair usage. This limit should never be reached when using automatic marking. Usage of Super ChatRT will reach this limit in 20-30 minutes.
  • RP and gamification features - We include some gamified features within our website to help you engage and focus better!
    When completing actions on our website, you will earn Revision Points (RP) which, after collecting enough, will level you up. The number of RP required to level up increases after each level.
    When you level up, you get chests, which contain cards. These cards can be free credits, customisation features or even 3 days free of our pro plan!
    You can check your RP and chests at any time through the top bar, and activate boosts and customise your profile by clicking on your username!
  • Tools - Finally, we have a lot of tools to help you revise! Click tools on the left-hand bar, or at the bottom of the screen and explore all of them!
