One way that we aim to make your revision easier is through saving your subjects so you can access them, and our other features, anywhere you like! No hassle needed!

Saving your subjects

Saving your subjects with us is SUPER easy (although there isn’t a unified subject database yet, so you’re gonna have to give us SOME info).
1

Click the Add New Subject Button

It’s in the top right corner, just next to the page title! You can’t miss it!
2

Fill out the fields.

Name: What is the name of the subject? Examples include: Maths, English, Science, Geography, SpanishExam Board: Who assesses you on the subject? Examples include: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJECQualification Level: What certificate do you get for passing? Examples include: GCSE, A-Level, T-Level, BTEC
3

Pick a colour.

Here’s the fun part! Choose out of 12 colours to represent the subject as. This will be shown throughout the entire website! Then, click save. It’s really simple!

The Subjects Page

This is the place where you can update and manage all of your subjects. You have a few different options:

Edit Subjects

Click the pencil icon on desktop, or the subject card and then “Edit Subject” on mobile, which will bring back the box you used to create the subject. Update anything you like, or snazz it up and change the colour! Once you’re done, click save and the website will update to show the new changes!

Delete Subjects

Just click the red X on desktop, or click the subject card and “Delete Subject” on mobile. You will get a confirmation box to prevent accidental deletions. If you confirm deletion, then this subject will be deleted from our database. We cannot restore it once it has been deleted - because your privacy comes first.

Request Subject Content

We get it, not all subjects have stuff on Revision Time yet. If that’s the case for your subject, there will be a little black info button on desktop, or a option in the menu you get by tapping on the card on mobile. Tap on that to see exactly what is missing and request resources for it. We will, if there’s enough demand, add at a higher priority, resources for these subjects.
We will get to all subjects eventually based on demand, but there is no guarantee of timelines or priority. We reserve the right to add or remove content for any subject at any time. You may not request subjects more than once per account, to keep things fair for everyone.

Edit Topics in a Subject

Now what happens if on desktop you click “topics”? Or on mobile you click on the subject card, then “edit topics”. You can edit topics. For subjects, the first thing we add is the specification and the topics you need to know. This helps you get tailored Revision Questions and Notes to what you need to practice. So, for each subject, you can automatically load the specification’s topic list in. OR, you can build them yourself. The specification tree will be given, as well as any selected topics. You can deselect and select the topics just by tapping on them. Don’t see the one you need? Simply use the box at the top to add it. Simple!

Topics are one of our most powerful features

You can use topics to navigate the progress and community revision questions pages, get tailored notes, plan your timetable accordingly and much much more! Just give it a go!
