The Practice Paper Maker assembles a realistic mock exam paper from the community question bank. Select the subject and topics you want to test yourself on, choose your paper length, and get a ready-to-attempt paper in seconds — free for every user.
Use practice papers after working through individual community questions on a topic. Answering a full paper under timed conditions gives you a better sense of how well you’ve retained what you’ve practised.

How to generate a practice paper

1

Go to Practice Papers

Open the app and navigate to Practice Papers in the main menu.
2

Select a subject and topic

Choose the subject you want to revise. You can then select one or more specific topics to focus your paper, or leave the topic filter open to draw from the full subject.
3

Choose your paper length

Set the number of questions or the overall paper length. The generator uses your selection to assemble a balanced mix of questions.
4

Generate your paper

Click Generate and your practice paper is assembled instantly from community questions that have passed moderation.

Plans and availability

Practice papers can be generated on all plans — Basic, Pro, and Ultimate. There is no usage limit on paper generation.

AI marking on written answers

If your practice paper includes written or extended-answer questions, you can submit those answers for AI marking to get instant feedback. AI marking uses credits from your balance — see AI marking for how credits work.

A note on official past papers

Practice papers are built from community-submitted questions, not official exam board past papers. They are a useful way to apply your knowledge and build exam technique, but they are not a substitute for working through official past papers from your exam board. Use them alongside official materials for the most effective preparation.
