Shaped notes are structured, topic-organised revision notes designed to help you cover your syllabus efficiently. Filter them by subject and exam board to surface exactly the content that’s relevant to what you’re studying — no searching required.
Filters are applied instantly with no page reload. As soon as you select a subject or exam board, the notes list updates to show matching content.

How to use shaped notes

  1. Navigate to Shaped Notes in the main menu.
  2. Select your subject from the filter panel to narrow the notes to that subject area.
  3. Select your exam board — for example, AQA, Edexcel, or OCR — to show notes tailored to that board’s specification.
  4. Click on any note to open and read it.
You can apply both filters together to get subject- and board-specific content in one step.

Access and availability

Shaped notes are available to all users — Basic, Pro, and Ultimate — with no session or usage limit. There is no cap on how many notes you can read.

Shaped notes are designed to complement your revision, not replace official exam board materials. Always cross-check what you read here against your textbooks, specification, and any official resources provided by your school or exam board. Notes are generated with AI assistance. While we work to keep content accurate, shaped notes are not firsthand exam board materials and may contain inaccuracies. If you spot an error, please report it using the contact form so we can review and correct it.
